EasyConsole has been designed with security as a main concern. Whether you are installing a web site or an internal intranet you will want to ensure that access is secure and tightly controlled.
EasyConsole features unlimited security groups with each group having its own power level. The group with the lowest power level has the strongest access of all.
System administrator (usually the group with the lowest security level) can assign permissions to every group and hence he can create other groups.
Users can be allocated to one or more groups having all the privileges and permissions of each one of the groups they belong to. Access can be disabled for a user or can be scheduled for expiration.

In addition, the use of EasyConsole IP range filtering enables the system to optionally check the user's IP address and allow or deny access accordingly.
