Versioning systems can be overly complex. EasyConsole CMS provides a powerful and easy-to-use content versioning system. Pages are maintained in virtual Staging, Production, and Archive environments. Work performed on content within the administration application affects the Staging version. When edits are complete, Staging can be published into Production immediately or be scheduled for publication by setting the date and time. Users can also individually Revert content from Archive into Production.
When an article is saved, the system automatically saves a new version of this article and stores it in the version archive. These versions are stored in a stack.
Users with the appropriate access can select any version, compare and revert.
