Cyprus web design launch: Dynamic Works is honored to be the Web Solutions provider responsible for the Cyprus Music Information Centre (CyMIC) web presence. The recently launched CyMIC’s website is here to attract the attention of many global viewers who happen to have a strong passion for music.

Its salient role is to promote and encourage development, production and appreciation of the music created by Cypriot composers and musicians. Being established in 2008 by the ministry of Education and Culture and the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation, CyMIC aimed to become the primary provider of specialized information, publications and music scores about the whole range of Cyprus music.
 
In addition to their commitment to both Cypriot composers and musicians, they also aim to: 
  • Provide detailed information about the local music life (events calendar and newsletter service);
  • Promote the achievements of Cypriot music artists locally and abroad
  • Contribute to the broader cultural development; and
  • Act dynamically on the behalf of the Cypriot music artists, in cultural policy development debates on a national level.
 
The music information centre recognized the fact that the World Wide Web is becoming the marketplace of the future and one of the most powerful methods of global communication available today. Therefore, the Centre proceeded with the web development and design of an innovative music portal. The newly CyMIC‘s website will advertise the Centre’s business and image effectively to a worldwide audience of composers, performers, orchestras, music researchers, as well as music educators and students.
 
Effortlessly, changes can be made to the website’s content with the use of EasyConsole CMS, giving administrators more control over the information that they wish to make available to the visitors.
Many Cypriot music composers, performers, bands and orchestras are given the opportunity to have their profile and work published and made available to the audience through this well-structured portal.
 
The “Calendar of Events” feature provides the perfect opportunity for CyMIC to announce up-coming events, seminars, workshops and international conferences to the visitors of the Cyprus Music Information Centre’s website.
 
The “Latest News” section needed to be developed since there is always something going on with the CyMIC!  The news section is linked to the Latest News component and displays the full news articles.
 
Certain components were also created, such as the “Up Coming Events“and “Events Calendar” component. The “Events Calendar” component actually is a calendar showing the current month and highlights dates with events. Once the day is selected it displays a list with all the events of the specific day. The above components are housed on the homepage, although the location of these components can change easily using EasyConsole CMS.
